Queens based cover duo, Midnight Dream, is quickly becoming a staple of the NYC live music scene. With their blend of soulful vocals, bluesy guitar solos, and hypnotic dance beats, they reinvent your favorite top 40 hits with a unique twist. The duo is composed of Wendy Watt, vocalist, and Jamie Groner, guitarist/multi-instrumentalist and live loop artist. A songwriter, composer, and producer for media, concert, and theatre, Riley Burke’s work, individually and collaboratively, bridges light and dark spaces while exploring bound and untethered states, female power, and liberation.

She recently welcomed her debut album “Reconfiguration” into the world with a release show at The Cutting Room, and has written music for the SNY television network, and had music featured in Echo, a London-based feminist production of Hamlet by Antonia Georgieva.

Saxophonist Niko Berdzeni grew up in a musical household in Tbilisi, Georgia. Niko started singing and playing piano at an early age, and eventually played trombone in the Red Army band and Techinical University big band before switching to Bari sax. He came to the US in 1991 and studied Jazz saxophone at Loyola University in New Orleans. Moving to NYC in 2003, he has been performing extensively with different groups and leads the soul jazz band: Boogaloo Gigolos!
